Nicole has changed a lot over the last 3 months. She's becoming a lot more interactive and sociable. She's very talkative and every so often we even get to hear her singing away in the middle of the night!
Nicole has been rolling for some time now and is very good at getting onto her tummy and moving around in a circle or even backwards in search of that special toy. Her memory must be pretty good, as she refuses to play with toys that she has already been playing with during her play time. She has just started practicing her pushups in preparation for crawling. She prefers to sitting upright rather than lying down although she hasn't perfected it yet. It won't be long before she's sitting up all by herself and crawling around.
Our faces light up when we hear Nicole laughing, especially when she laughs uncontrollably at something she thinks is very funny. Samantha and Nicole seem to have this special bond where Samantha is able to make Nicole laugh very easily. Samantha is very protective of Nicole especially when other people are around.
Nicole has been spending 2 days a week at daycare, from the age of 4 months, in preparation of Mum returning to full-time work next year. She seems to be settling in really well and loves sleeping in the sling.
After a lot of drooling, Nicole's first tooth came through the other day. Just the start of many more!
